Who we are
97 Studios ("we", "us") designs and builds websites, custom apps and the systems behind them. This policy explains what personal information we collect on 97studios.co and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect
What you give us. When you use the Get started form or the contact form, or when you email, call or text us, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, business name, what you need, and anything you write in your message. If you text or call us, we also receive your phone number.
What our site and providers receive automatically. When you visit the site, the servers and third parties that deliver it (listed below) receive technical details your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you request. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site at the moment.
When you send the form, we save your details in our database and send ourselves a push notification that shows what you entered, through a notification service called ntfy. To limit spam, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address next to each submission.
Please do not send us passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive information through the site, email or text.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk through your project.
- To prepare quotes and proposals, and to provide services you have asked for.
- To keep business, tax and legal records.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to prevent spam and misuse.
- To comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising across other companies' sites or apps. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
Our legal grounds (EEA and UK visitors)
Where European or UK data protection law applies, we rely on: taking steps you ask for before a contract (answering your enquiry and quoting), performing a contract, our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Calls and text messages
If you call or text us, or ask us to contact you, we will use your number to reply about your enquiry or the work you have asked us to do. We do not send marketing texts unless you have agreed to receive them. Tell us to stop and we will. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply, and text messages and email are not encrypted from end to end.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, the database where enquiries are stored, domain, email, phone and messaging services. They may use it only to provide those services to us. At the moment that includes Vercel (hosting), Neon (database) and ntfy (push notifications to our phones).
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers.
- Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect rights, safety or property.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged. We would tell you if that changed how your information is handled.
Third-party content on this site
To show this site, your browser loads some resources from other companies. Doing so sends them your IP address and basic browser details, and they have their own privacy policies.

Our work pages link to other people's websites and show screenshots of them. We do not control those sites, and this policy does not cover them.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set cookies on this site and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers. The companies in the section above may set their own technical cookies or logs when they deliver files. If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, such as answering your enquiry, delivering work, and keeping records the law requires. After that we delete it or make it anonymous. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website, email or message service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Vietnam, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it;
- take your information to another provider, where the law gives you that right;
- withdraw consent you have given; and
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of.
To use any of these rights, email contact@97studios.co. We may need to confirm it is you, and we will respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Where information is processed
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children
This site is not for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email contact@97studios.co and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
